This ‘Walking Dead’ and ‘Avengers: Endgame’ Mashup Is So Not Cool

Does the latest death on The Walking Dead still have you feeling down? Are you still walking around with a dark cloud over your head after watching The Avengers: Endgame trailer? Well, how about we combine the two for you real quick? That’s exactly what The Walking Dead’s official Twitter account did this past week, and we were definitely not ready for it.

The scene in question comes from a quick moment in the Endgame trailer, which finds Bruce Banner looking at photos of Scott Lang/Ant-Man and Shuri who are missing and presumed dead.

The Walking Dead thought it would be hilarious to add in some familiar faces by replacing them with Jesus, who was killed in the midseason finale by The Whisperers, and Jadis who whisked away Rick Grimes on the helicopter. “Wow this was a little too soon,” they captioned the photo. We know Jadis is alive, but Jesus? Definitely too soon 😭.

Of course, at the very end of Endgame’s trailer, it was revealed that Lang does, in fact, make it out of the Quantum Realm and books it over to Captain America and Co., but the fate of Shuri still remains up in the air. In The Walking Dead, Jesus may have suffered a devastating death, but his future on the show remains up in the air as well.

There are mysteries such as the X on Michonne and Daryl’s backs, and what happened with Maggie and Michonne, and all those things happened over the 6-year time jump on the show, so I could imagine Jesus was involved,” Tom Payne revealed at Fan Fest San Jose earlier this month.[/row]
