‘Avengers: Endgame’ Trailer Easily Smashes ‘Infinity War’ Record in First 24 Hours

Last week, the first trailer for Avengers: Endgame finally came, we certainly saw and it definitely conquered. The first look at the surviving heroes may have been extremely grim, but it comes as no surprise that Endgame’s trailer completely demolished the record for the most trailer views in 24 hours, taking the title away from Infinity War.  Across social platforms, including Youtube, Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram, AvengersEndgame earned a whopping 289 million views within its first day. Back in 2017, Infinity War took the top honor with an impressive 238 million views.

Thanks to Endgame’s astounding performance, Infinity War now moves to second place on the lineup with Disney’s Lion Kingwhich earned 224.6 million views online within the first 24 hours, moving to third place and New Line’s It moving to fourth place with 197 million views.

Avengers: Endgame is set to pick up after the devastating events of Infinity War, which found Thanos’ completing his Infinity Gauntlet and snapping his fingers to rid of half of humanity, which included fan-favorite heroes such as Spider-Man, Black Panther, and Bucky Barnes. With the original Avengers still on Earth (and Hawkeye’s back!) they’ll have to work together to come up with a plan to defeat Thanos once and for all. Thankfully, the trailer revealed that Scott Lang/Ant-Man does, in fact, make it out of the Quantum Realm so we will have his humor to look forward to as well as Captain Marvel’s triumphant appearance.

Once again directed by the Russo Brothers, Endgame will definitely star Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Chris Hemsworth, Brie Larson, Paul Rudd, Mark Ruffalo, and Jeremy Renner. While the fate of the “dead” heroes is still up in the air, they’re all also credited to appear on IMDB.

Avengers: Endgame releases on April 26, 2019.
