Tom Payne Says This Week’s ‘The Walking Dead’ is The Creepiest Ever
The mid-season finale of The Walking Dead season 9 is upon us, and there are many questions to be asked.
Tom Payne, AKA Jesus on the show, has added even more excitement to the build up of the episode, telling fans to expect creepiness.
He posted on his instagram Wednesday saying,
It’s coming. The creepiest episode of The Walking Dead you’ve ever seen. What lies ahead? This Sunday you’ll find out. It’s scary, and awesome. It’s scary awesome. #twdfamily#twdseason9#creepy#scary#twdmidseasonfinale
The past few have certainly been creepy with the introduction of The Whisperers, who we still don’t know a lot about. In the comics, they are a very terrifying bunch, and we got a taste of that as they cornered Eugene and Rosita in the woods.
Jesus, Daryl and Aaron have gone out searching for Eugene when we left them last, and we know that Jesus will have some fun scenes this episode. He told Comicbook.com that he’s excited for a fight scene that happens in a cemetery. It it takes place in a cemetery, it’s automatically creepy.
What do you think will happen during the mid-season finale? Will the Whisperers come fully into view? Will we discover the terror behind the strange voices?
Catch The Walking Dead mid-season 8 finale this Sunday at 9 PM ET on AMC.
