‘Aquaman’ Makes a Splash with an Action-Packed Final Trailer

On Monday, Warner Bros. and DC debuted the explosive final trailer for the upcoming film Aquaman.

The latest trailer offers a new look at the underwater city of Atlantis as well as a focus on Arthur Curry’s (played by Jason Momoa) childhood and origin. We see an adorable baby Arthur Curry held in his mother’s arms as Atlanna (played by Nicole Kidman) tells him of his legendary future. We also see Curry once again, this time as a young boy just beginning his Atlantean training with Vulko (played by Willem Dafoe) to become “the protector of the deep.”

In addition to setting up the film’s story, the trailer certainly doesn’t skimp on the action either. It’s packed with bright and stunning underwater battles that we can’t wait to see unfold up on the big theater screen.

In addition to dropping the final trailer for the highly-anticipated film, tickets are now officially on sale. Check out the latest and final trailer for Aquaman below.

Jason Momoa reprises his role in the DC Universe as Arthur Curry (aka. Aquaman, half-human, half-Atlantean and King of the Seven Seas, ruler of Atlantis). The film also stars Amber Heard (as Mera), Patrick Wilson (as the villainous Orm/Ocean Master), Temuera Morrison (as Tom Curry), Yahya Abdul-Mateen II (as Black Manta), Nicole Kidman (as Queen Atlanna), Dolph Lundgren (as King Nereus) and Oscar-nominee Willem Dafoe (as Nuidis Vulko).

Aquaman is directed by James Wan. Peter Safran is producing along with Zack and Deborah Snyder, Rob Cowan, Jon Berg and Geoff Johns serving as executive producers.

The official film synopsis reads as follows:

“From Warner Bros. Pictures and director James Wan comes an action-packed adventure that spans the vast, visually breathtaking underwater world of the seven seas, “Aquaman,” starring Jason Momoa in the title role. The film reveals the origin story of half-human, half-Atlantean Arthur Curry and takes him on the journey of his lifetime—one that will not only force him to face who he really is but to discover if he is worthy of who he was born to be…a king.”

Aquaman will splash down into theaters on December 21, 2018. Amazon Prime members also have an opportunity to see the film early. You can find all the details regarding the early screening HERE.
