‘Daredevil’ Season 4 is Officially Pitched to Netflix
Daredevil currently has its home on Netflix, but with the upcoming Disney streaming service Disney +,and cancellations of other Marvel series Iron Fist and Luke Cage, its future was unclear.
Showrunner Erik Oleson is moving on as usual and tweeted Friday that Daredevil’s fourth season has just been pitched to Netflix once again.
“Just pitched @netflix #Daredevil Season 4. Fingers crossed!” he wrote.

It’s likely that many of the Marvel series will actually move over to Disney +, but it’s not yet launched, so that’s most likely why they are just moving on with business as usual with Netflix. That means for now, Daredevil, The Punisher, and Jessica Jones will continue to live there.
In a recent interview with IndieWire, Oleson says he wasn’t in on the plans for the series.
“I don’t know what the future holds in terms of Netflix and Marvel and the new Disney streaming service and all of that. I’m not really privy to any of that stuff. That’s way above my pay grade.”
Daredevil season 3 is on Netflix now, and season 3 of Jessica Jones and season 2 of The Punisher are on the way.
