‘The Walking Dead’: Norman Reedus Shares Image of Daryl’s New Dog
Since the preview for the final 3 episodes in the front half of season 9 of ‘The Walking Dead’ aired, there’s been a lot of buzz about the new canine companion that Daryl is finally going to have!
In the trailer, we saw but glimpses of the pup running around with him.
Norman Reedus shared an image that AMC released Tuesday, showing the dog in full view! The dog, a Belgian Malinois looks poised and intelligent, so we are excited to see how we will work into the team as Daryl’s new best friend.
Reedus shared the image with the caption: “( his real name is seven he’s awesome)“.
He also spoke about Seven in a recent interview saying, he’s the smartest cast member they’ve got.
It’s so good. I love it. I think he’s the smartest cast member we got. We just did a scene the other day that ended up being the opposite of what it was supposed to be because the dog just wanted to do something else, and it came out so much better. He’ll probably be running the show. It’s great! I love it. He loves me, too.”
What do you think the dog’s on screen name will be?
The Walking Dead airs Sundays on 9 PM ET on AMC.
Note: Belgian Malinois are a very high maintenance working breed who are bred to protect and be trained. It’s best to do a lot of research if you’re thinking of adopting this breed.
