Monday was a big day for Toy Story 4, and Tuesday is turning out to be just as exciting!

The first trailer for the 4th film in the beloved Disney Pixar tale of toys dropped yesterday showing characters Buzz Lightyear, Woody, Jessy, Slinky Dog, Ham, Rex and Mr. Potato Head all holding hands in a circle.  It also included a new character, Forky voiced by Tony Hale. Already grabbing our attention is this intriguing new character in the midst of an existential crisis.

If Forky wasn’t enough, we’re now being introduce to two new characters in an entirely separate trailer.

The characters are Ducky and Bunny, voiced by  Keegan-Michael Key and Jordan Peele.

In the new trailer, they are talking about the new Toy Story film being made, as they joke about Buzz Lightyear’s famous line, “To Infinity and Beyond” Bunny at one point jokes, “To Infinity and your mom.”

Buzz and Woody shortly enter, telling they they’ve got the line wrong. Buzz swiftly corrects them, which only makes the silly pair laugh even more.

Director Josh Cooley said in a press release Tuesday,

“Keegan-Michael Key and Jordan Peele, who voice Ducky and Bunny, are two of the most brilliant minds I’ve ever seen. Of course, they are effortlessly funny, which would be enough. But they are incredible actors that understand story. Their improvs weren’t just for comedy sake, they were story motivated which elevated Ducky and Bunny and the film to a level I never could have expected.”

It’s safe to say we’ll see a lot more of them in the film. Also in the press release was a blurb about the two,

Woody’s journey in “Toy Story 4” includes a visit to a carnival where he meets Ducky and Bunny, two carnival prizes who are eager to be won. But when their plans are rudely interrupted by Woody and his friends, they find themselves on an unexpected adventure with a group of toys who have no idea what it feels like to be tacked to a prize wall.

What do you think of the new characters? They’re fluffy cuteness and brazen jokes really are the perfect combination!

Toy Story 4 hits theaters June 21, 2019.
