Last Monday, we officially welcomed back the team at San Jose St. Bonaventure hospital as The Good Doctor kicked off its second season with an emotional episode wrapping up the loose ends left by season one. On this week’s new episode, we begin to move forward into new the new storylines of the season.
As we learned at the end of the season two premiere, Lea is back from Pennsylvania, and while her return will undoubtedly throw Dr. Shaun Murphy for a loop, she’s not the only familiar face returning this season. In Monday night’s new episode, Shaun’s patient is none other than the janitor who viewers may remember from Shaun’s brief overnight stay in the hospital supply closet. Shaun had a heart-to-heart talk with the janitor while he was hiding out from Dr. Aaron Glassman and avoiding meeting with his prospective life skills coach.
Additionally, we’ll get to see Dr. Audrey Lim back in action as well as more of season 2 guest star Lisa Edelstein as her character Dr. Blaize and Dr. Glassman continue to butt heads over his cancer treatment.
Check out the official synopsis for Monday’s episode titled Middle Ground:
