The first of two casting announcements made on Tuesday, Johnny Galecki will be returning to the series to reprise his role as Darlene’s ex-husband, David Healy. Galecki also made a guest appearance on the revival season of the series and viewers will certainly be happy to see him back in the role once more to develop more of that storyline.
Actress Juliette Lewis will also be joining the series in the role of Blue, David’s girlfriend. Lewis shared the news via her social media pages by posting photos from the set. She captioned her post, “HERE’S THE BIG NEWS!! Look what I’m doin!!!” The official social media account for The Conners also shared the photos.
Both Galecki and Lewis’ appearances on The Conners gives us the National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation reunion we never knew we needed so badly! The two played Rusty and Audrey in the 1989 holiday classic and we love seeing these two back on set together again!
