With the news that the final trailer for Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald will debut on Tuesday, Warner Bros have released a full set of character posters – and they are stunning.

The posters feature the main titular cast members from the first instalment in the Fantastic Beasts franchise, including actors Eddie Redmayne (Newt Scamander), Katherine Waterston (Tina Goldstein), Alison Sudol (Queenie Goldstein) and Dan Fogler (Jacob Kowalski), with the addition to newcomers Johnny Depp (dark wizard Gellert Grindelwald) and Jude Law (Young Dumbledore).

Also joining the star-studded cast are Zoë Kravitz as Leta Lestrange and Callum Turner as Theseus Scamander.

Now, these aren’t just you’re typical ‘get-to-know such and such’ posters, each of the characters have their own symbols and intriguing taglines, allowing fans to use their magical imaginations regarding the plot of the upcoming film. For example: Newt is ‘wanted for questioning’, Tina’s of on a ‘foreign assignment’ and Queenie, well her whereabouts are unknown.

The official synopsis of the films goes as the following:

At the end of the first film, the powerful Dark wizard Gellert Grindelwald (Johnny Depp) was captured by MACUSA (Magical Congress of the United States of America), with the help of Newt Scamander (Eddie Redmayne). But, making good on his threat, Grindelwald escaped custody and has set about gathering followers, most unsuspecting of his true agenda: to raise pure-blood wizards up to rule over all non-magical beings.

In an effort to thwart Grindelwald’s plans, Albus Dumbledore (Jude Law) enlists his former student Newt Scamander, who agrees to help, unaware of the dangers that lie ahead. Lines are drawn as love and loyalty are tested, even among the truest friends and family, in an increasingly divided wizarding world.

Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald arrives in theatres November 16th.
