‘The Big Bang Theory’: Kaley Cuoco Talks the Final Season

CBS

The Big Bang Theory is about to air with its final season and with that comes some major questions. How will they wrap up the show? Will we get closure or will they betray us with a cliff-hanger, or worse, a surprise twist? (Thanks How I Met Your Mother… I’m still not over that one)

Kaley Cuoco (Penny) is just like us fans, she wants things wrapped up and even went on CBS’ The Talk to share her “finale wishlist.”

“I’d like to learn Penny’s last name,” said Cuoco. The show has gone 11 seasons without revealing Penny’s maiden name. “I’d like the elevator to get fixed,” Cuoco said of the broken elevator in their apartment. “These are small things.”

The third item on her wishlist is kind of surprising. “You know who I’ve been wanting for many years? This might sound very random. Jack White,” Cuoco said. “Wouldn’t it be cool? And he’s got kind of a cool, nerd thing going on. I’ve been saying this for years, and I’m running out of time.”

Hopefully, Cuoco gets her three wishes and that the season wraps up the show nicely for the fans.

Another big question when it comes to BBT is what’s next for Penny and Leonard? They got married in season 9, which was a huge step for them, but since then, their relationship has kind of stalled. Cuoco revealed that the couple is starting to discuss the future.

“We did an episode actually recently that I’m excited for it to air,…It was about Penny and Leonard tackling the future of wanting children or not. It was actually really interesting, her take on her wanting to work. It wasn’t kind of in the cards for us and I think it’s an interesting conversation to have. I’m glad we got to make that episode,” Cuoco said.

The season 12 premiere of The Big Bang Theory airs Monday on CBS at 8 p.m. with the second episode airing Thursday, September 27 at 8 p.m. in its usual time slot.
