Alton Brown is back on TV with more ‘Good Eats’
The food-science guru Alton Brown is back with some more good eats.
Brown started the hit cooking show Good Eats in 1999 on the Food Network by breaking cooking down into a science. Each episode had a theme, whether it is a specific ingredient or technique or even holiday. The show lasted for 249 episodes before closing in 2011.
Brown first announced these new projects back in July. He says he revamped some of the older episodes to get ready for the officially titled Return of the Eats. Return of the Eats which will be based on the original show but won’t hit TV until 2019.
I’m revisiting the Good Eats library and renovating some classic episodes by adding new scenes, new science and new recipes. The result: Good Eats: Reloaded. Premieres October 15 at 9pm ET on @cookingchannel. #GoodEatsReloaded pic.twitter.com/v13YaH0pkn

Good Eats: Reloaded will air October 15th on the Cooking Channel. That’s not all that Brown revealed, either. The Yeast Puppets will be back and there’s a fondue recipe that he’s dying to try.
