‘LOST’ Stars Sonya Walger and Henry Ian Cusick Reunite in the Place Where Their Characters First Met
“See you in another life.”
ABC’s beloved drama series LOST may not be getting a reboot anytime soon, but two of the show’s actors are giving us all the nostalgic feels we need.
LOST stars Sonya Walger and Henry Ian Cusick played two of the series’ most loved characters Penny and Desmond who first met outside of a monastery in Scotland. In season 4, episode Catch-22, the pair first meets while Penny is arriving at the monastery to pick up wine. As Desmond helps load the wine into her car, instant sparks fly between the two characters whose love story on the series remains one of the most epic in television history.
Since LOST has concluded, both Walger and Cusick have remained fairly close friends and even appeared in a film together in 2014. Now, they are giving LOST fans everywhere a heaping dose of nostalgia when the two posted a photo to social media in the spot where their characters met for the very first time.
Walger posted the photo with a simple but profound caption which read, “Reunited.”

Cusick then shared her post with a caption that melted our hearts. He wrote, “Where Penny and Des first met! So lovely to see you again @sonyawalger! xx.”

The sweet photo and nostalgic reminder has been a hit with fans who all seem delighted at the fact that the actors who played two of their favorite characters are still friends all these years later.
LOST aired on ABC for sick season form 2004 to 2010. Created by J.J. Abrams, Lindeloff and Jeffrey Lieber, LOST told the mysterious and twisted story of the passengers of Oceanic Flight 815, a plane which departed from Sydney, Austrailia and crashed on a seemingly uninhabited island in the Pacific Ocean. The survivors uncovered that there was way more to the island and it’s strange and mystical ways than they could have ever imagined.
In addition to Walger and Cusick, the series starred Matthew Fox, Evangeline Lilly, Terry O’Quinn, Josh Holloway, Jorge Garcia, Dominic Monaghan, Emilie de Ravin, Naveen Andrews, Daniel Dae Kim, Yunjin Kim, Harold Perrineau and many many others to make up the phenomenal ensemble cast.
All seasons of LOST are currently streaming through Hulu.
