Kevin Feige Weighs in on Possible new Marvel Actors

Marvel Studios ruled 2018 with two of the biggest superhero films of all time. They’ve also had quite a big year with the brand new Fox and Disney deal, which brings over X-Men and The Fantastic Four.

With all this, we know that Marvel is definitely peaking and is moving full speed ahead with even more releases next year including new characters, (Untitled Avengers 4, Captain Marvel, to name a few.)

We did potentially lose some favorite heroes during Avengers: Infinity War, but that’s not the only concern that sneaks into conversations between Marvel fans. Many of these guys have been at it for a decade. Specifically, Robert Downey Jr. and Chris Evans have both insinuated that they are almost ready, if not ready to move onto new pastures after Avengers 4.

That would be a pretty big deal, considering Iron Man is the heart and soul of Marvel, to many.

Marvel’s Kevin Feige often steps in to clear things up, and in this case he has attempted again. This time, he spoke to The CostCo Connection:

“I have no doubt that all of our actors, who are in peak physical shape, have got another 50 years in them to be heroes.”

There have been rumblings about re-casting certain characters, and inserting younger actors in as replacements. They do it with Bond, so why not? If that can’t happen, goodness knows there are enough Marvel characters in existence and coming in that can probably fill any void.

For now, we’ll have to wait for Avengers 4, and the close of their (hopefully first of many) decade-long saga.
