Taissa Farmiga, Lily Rabe, Stevie Nicks and More ‘American Horror Story’ Favorites Returning for ‘Apocalypse’
Details relating to the upcoming season of American Horror Story are finally starting to come spilling out. On Tuesday, series creator Ryan Murphy dished out some more amazing casting news which fans of the Coven and Murder House seasons are going to love!
In addition to returning cast members already confirmed, Murphy has just confirmed that Taissa Farmiga, Gabourey Sidibe, Lily Rabe, Frances Conroy and the legendary Stevie Nicks will all be returning for another round of the anthology. At this point, it’s unclear what roles they will be playing, but seeing as how the upcoming season is a crossover of Coven and Murder House, best guess is they are likely reprising their previous roles.
Murphy posted to Twitter saying, “Guess who’s coming back for AHS APOCALYPSE? Taissa Farmiga, Gabourey Sidibe, Lily Rabe, Frances Conroy and….Stevie Nicks. So thrilled the family is together again!”

The show’s upcoming eighth season will be a crazy crossover event which American Horror Story fans have been wanting for a while now. Two iconic seasons will finally intersect. The upcoming season, titled American Horror Story: Apocalypse, will combine the show’s first season theme, Murder House and the show’s third season theme, Coven which has opened the doors for many other familiar faces and characters to return including series staples Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, and Kathy Bates.
It has also recently been confirmed that Jessica Lange will be returning to the American Horror Story world for at least one episode in the upcoming eighth season in order to reprise her season one character Constance.
Earlier this week, American Horror Story: Apocalypse dropped its creepy first teaser which you can watch HERE. The eighth installment of the series, American Horror Story: Apocalypse, will premiere on September 12th on FX.
