‘Mayans MC’ Shares a Behind the Scenes Photo of the Clubhouse
You can’t have a Motorcycle Club without a clubhouse and we’ve got a look at the Mayans MC’s home base in a new behind-the-scenes photo shared on the series’ official Instagram account. Captioned “Home” the photo shows Mayan MC members Michael Irby and Frankie Loyal, who play Obispo “Bishop” Losa and Hank “El Tranq” Loza on the show, hanging out by the pool table as crew members and extras are sprinkled throughout the background. Check it out below!
In Sons of Anarchy, the Sons would congregate in their clubhouse located next to Teller-Morrow Auto Body to conduct both business and recreation. In addition to the common area, which also featured a full bar, the club spent a lot of time in the meeting room or “Church” where they would vote on huge decisions around a grand wooden table. Their clubhouse was a sacred space, intricately decorated with mementos and history of the club, so when it was blown up in season 6, it truly rocked the club to the core. In the Mayans MC teaser, we got to see a glimpse of what their table will look like and it definitely seems to have a much more industrial vibe in comparison to the Sons.
The show’s first trailer also offered some quick glimpses at the clubhouse, which you can see below!
Mayans MC will take place four years after the events of Sons of Anarchy. It follows EZ Reyes (JD Pardo), a former golden boy with the American Dream just within his reach who is now fresh out of prison and prospecting for Mayans Motorcycle Club. FX released a full trailer during SDCC, which you can check that out below or for a full breakdown head here.

Mayans MC premieres on September 4th at FX.
Having studied Media & Writing at James Madison University, I always knew that I wanted to do some type of creative writing, but being able to write about zombies, Starks, and superheroes on a daily basis for Fan Fest is my actual dream. While I probably shouldn’t be as proud as I am to be so similar to Nick Miller, I do hope to one day write my own “Pepperwood Chronicles’.
