Watch the Latest Teaser for ‘The Last Sharknado: It’s About Time’

In just over two weeks, the sixth and final film in the epic Sharknado franchise will premiere on Syfy and we can’t wait to see what crazy shark-infested trouble Fin Shepard (Ian Ziering) gets into this time.

As it turns out, time will be playing a very important factor in the sixth installment title The Last Sharknado: It’s About Time. On Thursday, a new teaser was released for the upcoming film focused on Fin’s time traveling adventures. He’ll have to battle through dinosaurs, the old west, futuristic worlds and more, all on his journey through time to stop the very first sharknado from ever happening. If he can stop the first one, he can stop them all!

Check out the teaser below:

The sixth and final film in the franchise will air later this month following Syfy’s fifth annual weeklong Sharknado event.  The Sharknado Week line up kicks off first with Deep Blue Seas 2 and will include other sharky movies such as Nightmare Shark and 6-Headed Shark Attack.

The Last Sharknado: It’s About Time will pick up right where the fifth film, Global Swarming, left off. According to a press release from Syfy, the sixth film is described as follows: “Our hero Fin (Ian Ziering) has battled sharks all over the globe, but in this last installment he will tackle the final shark-tier — time travel. In the ending moments of SHARKNADO 5: GLOBAL SWARMING, Fin was seen wandering alone on Earth after it was destroyed. Now he must travel back in time to stop the Sharknado that started it all. Will Fin and the gang be able to set everything right and save the world once and for all? A production of The Asylum, SHARKNADO 6 is directed by Anthony C. Ferrante, based on an original screenplay by Scotty Mullen.”

The Last Sharknado: It’s About Time will air on August 19th on Syfy.
