Leslie Jones Watched ‘Infinity War’ and Live-Tweeted the Whole Thing
We are truly blessed to be living in a digital age where Saturday Night Live’s Leslie Jones can live tweet her viewing experiences. The Emmy-nominated comedian is back at it again and this time she’s watching Marvel’s Avengers: Infinity War for the first time. Now, she didn’t end up getting through the whole thing, but the first part of the journey she took us is absolutely worth your attention.
She started off a little shaky when she thought the opening took place on Asgard and not an Asgardian ship, but we love her anyway.
Sooooo I’m starting the avengers movie with the thanos dude and um I need to know how they starting on Asgard when Thor destroyed the planet or do I got it wrong

Asgardian ships aside, she immediately realized what level of epicness she was diving into.
OH SHIT THIS MOVIE BOUT TO BE THE BOMB!! Lol y’all know I’m late to everything!! #AvengersInfinityWar

During the movie’s opening scene, Jones quickly became aware that this was going to have to be a two-part event because literally so much happens before the movie even really begins.
Ok so it’s gonna take me two days to watch this movie y’all too much shit keep happening I can’t take it. This muthafucka done beat up the hulk, killed the gate keeper and Loki! Damn the spoilers this is too much now! Like this dude from jail yo! He don’t give a fuck! pic.twitter.com/rr5j3ZyFPk

Respect for Thanos’s vengeance aside, she was also there for the comedy.

And she was all of us when Peter Parker made his debut.

She was totally into the super-suits as well with a cute little anecdote about wearing her sixth-grade cape way past the parade her mom made it for.
Man I love superhero movies. Had a blue and light blue cape in six grade moms made it for a parade but I wore it way past the parade. pic.twitter.com/mEMAwkpw6o

Poor Vision is nowhere near being on Leslie’s MCU radar.
Ok can someone explain the the dude with stone in his head who is that?
— Leslie Jones 🦋 (@Lesdoggg) August 1, 2018
Where he come from though I remember the girl dint rem him. Is he the blue dude that was powerful last time?

Captain America, however, very much was on her radar.

Chris Evans even responded to her!
What’s truly shocking is that this is EXACTLY what @Paul_Bettany says to me every time I enter a room. Verbatim. https://t.co/1j4pNcOQWT

Us, whenever the movie visited T’Challa and Co:
AAAAAAAAAAAA YOOOOOOO WAKANDA!! THIS IS THE BEST MOVIE EVER!! Lol they using all the folks!!
— Leslie Jones 🦋 (@Lesdoggg) August 1, 2018
Wakanda was apparently a good stopping point for Jones who signed off shortly after that tweet to go to bed.
Ok you guys I can’t watch the whole thing I might die from excitement I have to go to bed. lol lol damn everybody so fine and heroey in this movie. Now don’t judge but I would have dated thanos in my 20s LMAO!! Wit his gangsta ass! Goodnight!! #heybighead #goingtobedonthatone

I’m just hoping that we get part two of her Infinity War live tweet because I need it. You can read the whole thread on her Twitter page here.
Avengers: Infinity War is now available on digital release!
Having studied Media & Writing at James Madison University, I always knew that I wanted to do some type of creative writing, but being able to write about zombies, Starks, and superheroes on a daily basis for Fan Fest is my actual dream. While I probably shouldn’t be as proud as I am to be so similar to Nick Miller, I do hope to one day write my own “Pepperwood Chronicles’.
