Netflix’s ‘To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before’ Gets Delightful Full Trailer

Netflix has released the full trailer for their upcoming teenage rom-com To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before. Based on the sheer delightfulness and light-hearted tone of the full trailer, I’d say To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before is shaping up to be another win for the streaming service who has found much success in the genre as of late with original films such as When We First Met, Set It Up, and The Kissing Booth.

Based on Jenny Han’s novel of the same name. To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before follows Lara Jean Song Covey (X-Men: Apocalypse’s Lana Condor), a high school teenager who has been writing love letters to the boys she’s had crushes on over the years as opposed to just talking to them in person. She’s kept all of the notes hidden in her closet until one day they are mysteriously mailed to all the guys. Doesn’t that sound like some good ol’ teenage fun!

The guys in question are Peter, who is played by The Fosters’ Noah Centineo. Centineo will also be appearing in the upcoming movie Sierra Burgess is a Loser with Shannon Purser. Then there’s a guy named Kenny and Lucas “from homecoming” who will be played by Trezzo Mahoro. Lara also wrote letters to John Ambrose from her days at Model UN (The Killing’s Jordan Burtchett) and Josh who is played by Happy Death Day’s Israel Broussard.

The full trailer teases a heartwarming film with a fantastic cast that’s sure to bring both the charm and the heart that we love in this kind of film. Not to mention, since the book has been out since 2014 and has over 200k reviews of GoodReads, To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before already has an impressive built-in audience that sure to make the film another hit for Netflix.

To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before also stars Sex and the City’s Jon Corbett as Lara’s dad with Pretty Little Liars’ Janel Parrish and Descendant’s 2‘ Anna Cathcart as Lara’s sisters. The screenplay was written by Sofia Alvarez and it was directed by Susan Johnson.
