‘Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.’ Season 6 Begins Production

Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. is on schedule to return in 2019.

Season six of the ABC drama, Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. has begun production and there is someone we know behind the cameras.

Photography on the series just begun earlier this week and the director of the Marvel Cinematic Universe series will be star Clark Gregg.

Through social media, Gregg provided a behind-the-scenes look at the show’s return. He was sure to remove top secret information, even the episode title.

The official Twitter reposted saying, “@clarkgregg is directing Marvel’s #AgentsofSHIELD but we’re keeping the rest of the surprises under wraps.”

We are still unaware of the plot details due to the mystery surrounding them but according to reports from Ign.com regarding casting calls for new characters, new members will be added over the course of the season.

In the mean time, Agent Fitz and Simmons’ grandson will take on a bigger role in the sixth season of the drama series. Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. is the first MCU TV series, and will have a shorter season on ABC in summer 2019. There have been no indications that the show will come to an end after season six.

Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. airs on ABC and stars Clark Gregg, Ming-Na Wen, Chloe Bennet, Henry Simmons, Iain De Caestecker, Natalia Cordova-Buckley, Elizabeth Henstridge, and Jeff Ward.
