Here Are the Best Tweets About ‘Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again’
If you haven’t had the pleasure of seeing Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again then do yourself a favor and grab your friends and three dads and head to the theater stat! The sequel to the 2008 movie musical starring Meryl Streep and Amanda Seyfried is an utter delight and full of all the same spirit and fun the first one embodied, if not more.
Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again finds Seyfried’s character, Sophie, pregnant and feeling more connected to her mother’s story than ever before. The movie takes place both in the present with Seyfried, Pierce Brosnan, Stellan Skarsgard, Christine Baranski, Julie Walters, Colin Firth, and Dominic Cooper all reprising their roles from the first film as well as in the past where Lily James will play a young Donna Sheridan who meets a young Sam, Bill, and Harry along her journey to opening that iconic inn.
Having left the theater with a huge smile on my face, I decided to head to Twitter from some thoughts and laughs from other moviegoers and have compiled some of my favorites for you. Enjoy!

So many good things to say about #MammaMia2 – loved the colour, the campness & the many gorgeous throws (oh yes) but perhaps best of all- the young Donna &The Dynamos were all an attainable shape & size. Hallelujah

don’t get me wrong, sky and sophie are cute but not “bill and harry waltzing together on a yacht to their 1/3 daughter’s grand re-opening of her mother’s hotel villa” cute #MammaMia2

guys, if you love Mamma Mia, you will still love the sequel, yes, the fate of Donna is sad but she is present the whole time and everything else is exactly what we all want in a sequel. And then there’s Cher. And then the epic Super Trouper finale. It’s perfect. ♥️#MammaMia2

“There’s no point climbing the ladder if you’re on the wrong wall!” – Harry, #MammaMia2 💙
This is one of my favourite quotes from the movie simply because it’s so accurate, if you’re unhappy in your career / life then change it! Climb a different ladder, one you REALLY want to!

‘Mamma Mia: Here We Go Again’ was definitely one of the beautifully made “feel good” films that could definitely stand on its own. I am happy ❤ #MammaMia

Sometimes I wish life was a musical… but then I remember that most people’s singing sounds more like Pierce Brosnan than Lily James 😂#MammaMia2 #stillworthit

Mamma Mia Here We Go Again currently has a higher rotten tomatoes score than Infinity War. Thanos is strong but Cher is stronger pic.twitter.com/WJmbRcD9a0

TBH my official Mamma Mia review is just that somewhere a pitch meeting definitely involved “OK, hear me out: Mamma Mia, but with Cher” and got a greenlight.

In the decade between the first and second #MammaMia movies, Christine Baranski made seven seasons of The Good Wife and one season of The Good Fight and Into the Woods, and doesn’t appear to have aged a goddamn day. #GodIsAWoman

Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again is now playing in theaters!
Having studied Media & Writing at James Madison University, I always knew that I wanted to do some type of creative writing, but being able to write about zombies, Starks, and superheroes on a daily basis for Fan Fest is my actual dream. While I probably shouldn’t be as proud as I am to be so similar to Nick Miller, I do hope to one day write my own “Pepperwood Chronicles’.
