Set in 1987, Bumblebee follows Charlie (Steinfeld) “a soon-to-be adult that is trying to find herself when she stumbles upon a battle-scared Bumblebee.” Cena will be playing the villain named Agent Burns. “He is a complicated man but, damn, he looks good in a suit though,” said Cena during the panel.
[row]”Bumblebee has always been the one Transformers with the greatest connection to people, with the most affinity for humanity. And I always thought that was fascinating. This film answers that,” Director Travis Knight explained.[/row]
The film released a teaser trailer last month. You can check that out below:
Bumblebee drives into theaters on Dec. 21, 2018.
Having studied Media & Writing at James Madison University, I always knew that I wanted to do some type of creative writing, but being able to write about zombies, Starks, and superheroes on a daily basis for Fan Fest is my actual dream. While I probably shouldn’t be as proud as I am to be so similar to Nick Miller, I do hope to one day write my own “Pepperwood Chronicles’.
