SDCC 2018: ‘Bumblebee’ Gets Retro Inspired Poster

Paramount

For the first time ever The Transformers franchise took a seat in Hall H at San Diego Comic-Con to discuss their latest installment Bumblebee. Stars Hailee Steinfeld, Jorge Lendeborg, and John Cena were on hand to talk about the prequel spinoff and drop some exclusive footage for attendees and an all-new poster. Check it out below!

Set in 1987, Bumblebee follows Charlie (Steinfeld) “a soon-to-be adult that is trying to find herself when she stumbles upon a battle-scared Bumblebee.” Cena will be playing the villain named Agent Burns. “He is a complicated man but, damn, he looks good in a suit though,” said Cena during the panel.

“Bumblebee has always been the one Transformers with the greatest connection to people, with the most affinity for humanity. And I always thought that was fascinating. This film answers that,” Director Travis Knight explained.

The film released a teaser trailer last month. You can check that out below:

Bumblebee drives into theaters on Dec. 21, 2018.
