Sebastian Stan Shares ‘1940s Screen Test’ Image of Winter Soldier

As Avengers: Infinity War continues to awe us and will soon enter our homes with the release of the DVD and Blu-ray, the heroes are able to share looks into their processes every now and then. Sebastian Stan recently shared a black-and-white photo of himself as Bucky Barnes, which had been taken in the style of a classic Hollywood glamour shot.

The actor joked, including that “the image was from a rare 1940s screen test of the Winter Soldier.”

The image shows a smoldering, black and white version of Bucky-it looks like the same look he wore fore the big battle in Inifity War. He is now sporting his vibranium arm. The image seems to be unedited-if you look closely, you can see Stan’s wrist can be seen in the gap where the glove meets the rest of the arm.

Avengers: Infinity War will be available on July 31st in digital HD, and on Blu-ray on August. 14th. Some bad news is that the 30 minutes of Thanos’ backstory cut from the final film did not make the home release cut either. Hopefully we will be able to see that clip someday.

Perhaps Sebastian’s photo was also a tease to other special features included, like more vintage style photo shoots. We say bring them on!

Avengers: Infinity War stars Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Scarlett Johansson, Paul Bettany, Anthony Mackie, Elizabeth Olsen, Tom Holland, Benedict Cumberbatch, Chadwick Boseman, Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Bradley Cooper, Vin Diesel, Tom Hiddleston, Peter Dinklage, and Josh Brolin.

It can still be seen in some theaters!
