Arrow: Stephen Amell Reveals His Top 3 Favorite Fights
Filming for Season 7 of Arrow is underway, and Stephen Amell is recounting his first couple of days of filming via Twitter. Arrow has had some particularly great fights sequences during the past six years, but today, Amell tweeted his three favorite action sequences (in order of appearance).
I've been singularly proud of 3 action sequences in Arrow. In order of appearance:
1. GA's taking on Adam Hunt's men in the pilot.
2. Fighting R'as al Ghul on a freaking mountain.

The first sequence on Amell’s list is the first fight sequence we see of Oliver as the Hood. Oliver takes on Adam Hunt’s heavily-armed bodyguards, and takes down the leader of the grunts without his bow. It’s a great fight and showcases just how skilled Oliver has become over his five year absence.
The second is a personal favorite fight scene as Oliver fights Ra’s al Ghul, leader of the League of Assassins, in order to save his sister’s life. This scene is great because Oliver fights with a sword, which isn’t a weapon he typically uses, but also because it showcases just how formidable a foe Ra’s is.
The third on the list is what makes this so interesting as it’s a fight that’s to come. So let’s speculate a bit. The finale of Season 6 found Oliver going to prison for his crimes as Green Arrow. This could mean that there’s a prison fight as Oliver is either accosted by those he’s put away, or he’s making his escape. There is a third option, however, as there could be another showdown between Oliver and Ricardo Diaz. Maybe Oliver gets a temporary release in order to put Diaz away for good. Regardless, Amell’s tweet is very intriguing.
Season 7 of Arrow kicks off Monday, October 15, with the episode entitled ‘Inmate 4587.’
