‘Ant-Man’s Michael Peña Stars in Netflix’s Sci-Fi Thriller ‘Extinction’

On Wednesday, Netflix dropped the first trailer for its upcoming sci-fi thriller film Extinction.

The film stars Ant-Man and the Wasp’s Michael Peña as a typical working dad whose life is about to take a terrifying turn. Peña’s character follows a simple daily routine – “Work. Home. Family. Work. Home. Family.” Everything changes when he begins having recurring nightmares in which his family and the world around them become completely destroyed. Soon, his nightmares begin to affect his job and most importantly, his family. He believes his dreams are the future and that just might be the case.

Outside of his nightmares, an alien invasion begins to destroy Earth and he begins to realize only he holds the key to the planet’s survival.
