Disney Announces Release Dates for ‘Indiana Jones 5,’ ‘Maleficent 2,’ ‘Jungle Cruise’ and More

Disney has just released premiere dates for some of their upcoming most-anticipated films! Get ready to mark your calendars!

Indiana Jones 5:

At the end of June, news broke that the upcoming Indiana Jones 5 film was being delayed, yet again. The film which was originally supposed to hit theaters in 2019, was first pushed back to July 2020 before being delayed “by several months” yet again. With this most recent delay, we now know that Indiana Jones 5 is expected to be released on July 9, 2021.

The still-untitled Indiana Jones 5 will see the return of its titular character played once again by Harrison Ford, though rumors have been swirling that this might be Ford’s last hurrah as the iconic adventurer and archeologist. Steven Spielberg is on board to direct with Jonathan Kasdan reportedly set to write the script for the film.

While fans will have to wait a little longer for the film’s release, hopefully, this is the last delay for Indiana Jones 5.

Since then, the ride has become a Disney staple in its theme parks around the world. The Jungle Cruise ride offers a scenic boat tour of the most exotic and exciting rivers across Asia, Africa, and South America.

While details regarding the film are few and far between, we do know that Johnson and Blunt will be riding the Jungle Cruise movie to the box office on October 11, 2019.
