‘Deadpool 2’ Heads to SDCC For Special Panel and Screening

When I found out that San Diego Comic-Con would be reuniting the cast of Breaking Bad for a special 10-year anniversary panel I was infinitely jealous. Now, I’ve recently come to find out that 20th Century Fox is hosting a special Deadpool 2 panel and screening a new version of the film, being dubbed as “The Deadpool 2 Super Duper $@%!#& Cut at the con, and the FOMO is officially off the charts.

The panel will be taking place on Saturday, July 21 from 5:15pm – 6:15pm PST and even though there haven’t been any guest announcements yet, the SDCC site promises “the ultimate superhero landing as Deadpool and pals drop into Hall H for an hour of maximum effort. Expect dirty jokes, broken fourth walls, maybe some spandex, and real, live unicorns.” Fans may also be treated to some information about a X-Force spinoff and perhaps even some scoop about a potential Deadpool 3.

Following the panel at 10:00pm PST in the Horton Grand Theater, there will be “a super-duper special screening” of Deadpool 2 that is hinted to entail a few “surprises” which we hope means some extended or deleted scenes of Peter (Rob Delaney).

We hope that all of you attending SDCC can make it to the panel or the screening because when Deadpool is involved it’s never boring!

Deadpool 2, which hit theaters this past May, found Ryan Reynolds reprising his role as Wade Wilson (aka the Merc with the mouth) to save a young mutant named Firefist (Julian Dennison) from being killed by the time-traveling bionic mutant Cable (Josh Brolin). The film also starred  Morena Baccarin, Zazie Beetz, T.J. Miller, Leslie Uggams, Karan Soni, Brianna Hildebrand, Terry Crews, Lewis Tan, and Bill Skarsgard. It was once again directed by David Leitch.
