‘Chilling Adventures of Sabrina’ Creator Shares BTS Table Read Photo
We are getting closer and closer to The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, the Riverdale spinoff set to premiere on Netflix later this year. While the Riverdale cast is just trickling back in after having been on hiatus the past couple months, the Sabrina cast has been busy filming their first two seasons in Vancouver and showrunner Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa is taking us behind the scenes of the latest table read.
He shared a photo of Ross Lynch, who will be playing Greendale’s Prince Charming Harvey Kinkle, and Chance Perdomo who will be playing Sabrina’s cousin Ambrose Spellman, as well as new cast addition Gavin Leatherwood who hasn’t been officially announced yet. According to JustJared, Leatherwood will be playing Nicholas Scratch, a warlock at the Academy of Unseen Arts, who is drawn to Sabrina as the new student. Check it out below!

Starring Mad Men alum Kiernan Shipka in the titular role, The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina will put a darker twist on the Sabrina story most people are familiar with, following Sabrina as she struggles to juggle life as a half-witch/half teenager as evil forces threaten her town and the people she cares about.
In addition to Shipka, Lynch, Perdomo, and Leatherwood, the series will also star Lucy Davis as Aunt Hilda, Miranda Otto as Aunt Zelda, Jaz Sinclair as Sabrina’s friend Rosalind Walker, and Tati Gabrielle as her rival Prudence. Despite being a spinoff of The CW’s Riverdale, there currently aren’t any plans for a crossover in the first two seasons.
Right now, we’re not thinking about that. They’re two separate entities for right now,” Jon Goldwater, CEO of Archie Comics and an executive producer on Riverdale and Sabrina, confirmed earlier this year.
While there hasn’t been an official release date confirmed yet we expect Sabrina & Co. to be hitting Netflix late Fall/early December!
Having studied Media & Writing at James Madison University, I always knew that I wanted to do some type of creative writing, but being able to write about zombies, Starks, and superheroes on a daily basis for Fan Fest is my actual dream. While I probably shouldn’t be as proud as I am to be so similar to Nick Miller, I do hope to one day write my own “Pepperwood Chronicles’.
