Michael B Jordan Would Reprise Killmonger Role in the MCU

Some of the biggest celebrities in pop culture were the highlight of Monday night’s MTV Movies & TV Awards. From the casts of series’ like Stranger Things and 13 Reasons Why to movie stars from comic book realms and horror flicks, fans caught glimpses of all of their favorite stars.

It goes without saying that those associated with the MCU are having an incredible 2018. From movies like Black Panther and Avengers: Infinity War – the box office has been ruled by Marvel’s superheroes and villains.

One of which is as handsome as he is talented and he makes just about everybody swoon. Michael B Jordan took on the role of Erik Killmonger with a fierce devotion to his story and the ability to make us all root for him.

Rooting for him didn’t last as long as we’d have liked. Unfortunately, his character met an end before the film wrapped up, but that doesn’t mean that we haven’t considered what the future of the MCU could hold with Killmonger in it.

Jordan has considered that as well. Speaking to MTV at the awards ceremony, he had this to say about the idea.

‘As you said, of Marvel, of comic books, everybody knows that. So I mean if there was ever an opportunity for me to come back and like join this universe and work with like Joe Russo, Kevin Feige, Victoria Alonso, and everyone over there at Marvel, re-team with Ryan Coogler you know, of course, I would.’

You can see his full response and more in this video.

Michael B Jordan can be seen as Erik Killmonger in Black Panther on DVD, now.
