The Parr Family Battles The Underminer in New ‘Incredibles 2’ Clip

Fourteen years after the heroic Parr family was first introduced into our lives, we are now just weeks away from the brand new Incredibles 2 movie hitting theaters!

During last year’s D23 Disney Expo, Pixar Chief Creative Officer John Lasseter and Director Brad Bird confirmed that the follow-up film would pick up right where the first film left off and they kept their promise!

For those needing a little refresher of the first film’s ending, just as life seemed to be returning to a normal existence, the Parr family encountered The Underminer, a villain who emerged from beneath the city streets to declare war on peace and happiness. In a brand new clip just released by Disney, we see that the Parr family will, in fact, battle the Underminer in Incredibles 2!

Check out the awesome clip below:

Incredibles 2 will feature a returning voice cast including Craig T. Nelson (Mr. Incredible), Holly Hunter (Elastigirl), Samuel L. Jackson (Frozone), Sarah Vowell (Violet) with newcomer Huck Milner (who will be the new voice of Dash). The film will also feature the voice talents of Bob Odenkirk, Sophia Bush, Catherine Keener, Jonathan Banks, and Isabella Rossellini.

The film’s official synopsis reads as follows:

“It’s a tough transition for everyone, made tougher by the fact that the family is still unaware of baby Jack-Jack’s emerging superpowers. When a new villain hatches a brilliant and dangerous plot, the family and Frozone (voice of Samuel L. Jackson) must find a way to work together again — which is easier said than done, even when they’re all Incredible.”

Incredibles 2 hits theaters on June 15, 2018! We can’t wait!
