Jason Blum Promises ‘Halloween’ Trailer Debut in June
When the first footage was shown off at CinemaCon last month, fans of the Halloween franchise have been itching to finally get a trailer release. After seeing tweets from the films iconic star, Jamie Lee Curtis, about the trailer – the craze has only continues. David Gordon Green’s sequel to John Carpenter’s original classic slasher film is due for a release on October 19, 2018 and horror fans across the world are beyond ready for it.
In a response to hundreds of fan tweets, Blumhouse founder Jason Blum popped onto Twitter to assure us all that they understand the hype and that the trailer will come real soon:
And while I’m twittering as opposed to “tweeting” I want to assure #Halloween fans that we hear you. We have read your comments. And I can assure you that early June will be a happy time for you or perhaps I should say for most of you. xx

The film, directed by David Gordon Green and co-written by Danny McBride centers on Laurie’s final fight with her deranged brother.
“Laurie Strode comes to her final confrontation with Michael Myers, who has haunted her since she narrowly escaped his killing spree on Halloween night four decades ago.”
Joining her in the film, will be Judy Greer as Karen Strode, Laurie’s daughter, and Andi Matichak – who will be playing the granddaughter of Laurie.
In a special 40th anniversary tribute – Nick Castle will return to the role of Michael Myers, with stunt performer and actor James Jude Courtney doing some of the ‘heavier’ stunt-work.
My big question is…. can October come any sooner?
Michael returns to Haddonfield on October 19th, 2018.
