Turns Out Mark Ruffalo Actually Spoiled ‘Infinity War’ Last Year
*This post contains spoilers for Avengers: Infinity War*
We’ve always held Tom Holland as #1 in our hearts when it comes to accidentally revealing MCU spoilers, but these days Mark Ruffalo is certainly giving him a run for his money. Last October he accidentally live-streamed the beginning of Thor: Ragnarok and fans were immediately worried for his safety because everyone knows that Marvel will do anything to protect their secrets.

Naturally, when it came to Avengers: Infinity War everything was on uber-lockdown to avoid spoilers and the stars were tight-lipped about any and all details of the movie. So, last weekend when Infinity War opened to the biggest box office weekend of all time, fans were shocked and devastated to see half of their favorite superheroes evaporate into dust and presumably die at the snap of Thanos’ fingers. The deaths completely rattled the Marvel fandom, but it turns out that if you had just tuned into an interview from last year’s D23 with Mark Ruffalo and Don Cheadle you already knew that was going happen thanks to one Loose Lips Ruffalo.
“Wait until you see this next one…. Everybody dies…Well, half,” he said when talking about the fate of the characters in Thor: Ragnarok vs. Infinity War.
Check out the whole video below! It starts around the 40-second mark.
Uh oh, @DonCheadle, is @MarkRuffalo going to get in trouble with @MarvelStudios now!? #InfinityWar #D23expo pic.twitter.com/WR5C1QCBTb

You can see the exact moment that Ruffalo sees his career flash before his eyes and the look on Cheadle’s face is just as priceless. The two played it off as a joke at the time and the funny thing is, everyone else did too!
SPOILER
So that time mark ruffalo “accidentally” spoiled iw at d23 and we all thought it was really funny and didn’t believe him, he was actually telling the truth, I hate everyone at marvel.

Having studied Media & Writing at James Madison University, I always knew that I wanted to do some type of creative writing, but being able to write about zombies, Starks, and superheroes on a daily basis for Fan Fest is my actual dream. While I probably shouldn’t be as proud as I am to be so similar to Nick Miller, I do hope to one day write my own “Pepperwood Chronicles’.
