The MCU’s Phase 4 Will Be ‘Massively Different’

With Avengers: Infinity War becomes the beginning of an end of sorts, or at least, a nod to 10 years before a different direction is taken. At the wrap of Avengers 4, we’ll see a drastic change in everything we’ve come to know about the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

The stories told over the last 10 years have been impactful, emotional, powerful, and above all else – captivating. They’ve been the building blocks to what is shaping up to be a monument in the realm of pop culture. From Iron Man and Captain America to Thor and the Hulk to the Guardians of the Galaxy and your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man – we’ve had an incredible journey with these heroes.

So what happens in the next 10 years? Well, we can’t be 100% sure right now. What we do know is that Joe Russo spoke with Yahoo! Movies and had this to say about what to expect.

‘I think massively different. I think that this is if Marvel has been writing a book for ten years, it’s the end of the book and someone is going to write a new book. Who knows what that new book will be but this is an ending and that’ll be a new beginning.’

It’s not the first time Joe or Anthony Russo have said that the next phase for Marvel Studios is very different. With Thanos’ evil looming, we expected nothing less. This battle is going to change everything as we know it.

Avengers: Infinity War hits theaters on April 27th.
