It’s a good day for HBO series old and new as the cable network just renewed their new dark comedy Barry for a second season and the wildly popular Silicon Valley for a sixth season.

Barry, which stars SNL’s Bill Hader as a hit-man who discovers a love of acting, has been well-received by critics and audiences alike and the beloved tech-world of Silicon Valley has been a popular staple on the network for four years. Both series will return in 2019, but no official release dates have been announced.

“While Barry has delighted audiences with its deft interplay of comedy and drama, Silicon Valley remains as brilliantly and frighteningly prescient as ever. We’re thrilled that these two smart, funny shows are returning for another season,”Said executive VP of HBO programming Amy Gravitt.

In addition to Hader, Barry also stars Sarah Goldberg, Stephen Root, and Henry Winkler. Silicon Valley features a hilarious cast of Thomas Middleditch, Zach Woods, T.J. Miller, Kumail Nanjiani, and Martin Starr.  Are you excited for more Barry and Silicon Valley? The two series are currently available on HBO!
