Fan Fest Chicago: ‘The Defenders’ Panel Highlights
From April 6th through the 8th, the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center was transformed into a pop culture dream world. With everything from panels and incredible photo ops to cosplay contests and the opportunities to chat with your favorite celebs, there was something for everyone at Fan Fest Chicago.
The Defenders panel happened on Sunday with Mike Colter and Elodie Yung talking about the Marvel series.
First, Mike discussed some ‘secondary’ characters that may have more of a focus in the second season of Luke Cage.

Elodie went on to talk about why she loves playing Elektra, in Marvel’s The Defenders so much.

The pair then discussed their favorite superheroes. Mike loves a lot of characters right now. Many in the Black Panther film, he’s excited for Infinity War as well, and he really likes Deadpool. So, we agree with him on all planes.

Elodie then discussed the empowering costumes that she gets to wear as Elektra on the series. Especially her ‘superhero’ costume that is practical and still makes her feel powerful.
