Benedict Cumberbatch Teases ‘Exciting’ Fight in ‘Avengers: Infinity War’
In just 35 days, fans across the world will be pouring into theaters to see Avengers: Infinity War. The film has easily been one of the most talked about pop culture events of recent time. While we don’t know much about it yet, there are a few solid ideas that we’ve been given.
One, Thanos is a fearless evil with no weakness. Two, we’re going to be incredibly emotional. Three, there’s still some tension between the Avengers. Now, we also know that there’s going to be an epic fight scene in New York involving Doctor Strange.
Of course, this is because he has an Infinity Stone and we all know that Thanos is on the hunt for them. Refusing to stop until he captures them all. It’s like Pokemon on steroids.
Speaking of the Time Stone, Cumberbatch said this about a specific fight scene in the film.
‘They want me, and specifically what I’ve got hanging around my neck. So a fight ensues, and it gets really fun and really silly very quickly. The scale blows from real-world jeopardy into reality jeopardy, and then unreality jeopardy. It’s very exciting.’
We think he may be combining exciting and tense into one sentiment there, but we’ll take it.
Avengers: Infinity War hits theaters on April 27th.
