‘Avengers: Infinity War’ Screen Writers Solidify the Time for Farewell
With the reveal of the Avengers: Infinity War collector covers for Entertainment Weekly, some news was revealed. Now, we weren’t expecting (or really hoping for) any big secrets to be uncovered, but we did expect something.
That something came in a few parts. First, of course, were the covers themselves. Second, the 8 special pictures in the magazine. Third, was the snippet between Rocket Racoon and Bucky Barnes (that we were hoping so much would be included in the film) and last, was the confirmation that it’s time to say goodbye.
Speaking to EW, Steven McFeeley said this about certain goodbyes.
‘It’s safe to say we will say farewell to people.’
Now, this isn’t something we didn’t already know or at least expect would be happening. However, comic books don’t always have to translate to the big screen the same way we read them. While we know what actors have contracts with the MCU that have now, with the completion of Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers 4, been finished, we’re left asking the big questions.
Who lives? Who dies? Who will be our hardest goodbye?
