Disney is Back in the House at McDonald’s
The Mouse in officially back in the house at your local McDonald’s restaurant. It has been over a decade since the Disney Corporation parted ways with McDonald’s over their concerns that the restaurant chain may be playing a role in the childhood obesity epidemic that has been sweeping the nation.
In mid-February McDonald’s has revamped their Happy Meal selections by removing the cheeseburger and chocolate milk from the Happy Meal line-up. In the past McDonald’s had already added Go-Gurt, sliced apples, kid-size fries and healthy drink options to make the Happy Meals, Healthy Meals as well.
The new partnership was announced on cnbc.com and it comes at an exciting time to help promote the summer’s new blockbuster hits ‘The Incredibles 2′ and ‘Wreck-it Ralph 2′.
