WATCH: Sensei Johnny Lawrence Continues the ‘Cobra Kai’ Legacy in New YouTube Red Series Teaser
“Fear does not exist in this dojo, does it? Pain does not exist in this dojo, does it?” The Karate Kid‘s Johnny Lawrence is back and this time, he’s running the show as Sensei!
A brand new teaser for YouTube Red’s upcoming series Cobra Kai dropped on Thursday and it’s proving one thing – Johnny might be keeping the Cobra Kai legacy alive but he doesn’t give a s— about how you wash windows!
In the newest teaser below, Johnny (played by William Zabka) is teaching his new protégés the rules of Cobra Kai – Strike first. Strike Hard. No mercy! The teaser provides fans with a clever and nostalgic callback to the now iconic “Wax on, Wax off” scene from the original film and we also know from the first teaser that Johnny’s rival Daniel LaRusso (played by Ralph Macchio) will also be making an appearance in the series.
This looks like it’s going to be a must-see for both fans of the original films and new fans alike! The series is expected to be released later this year.
