Disney’s Live-Action ‘Aladdin’ Officially Wraps Production

Disney is just about ready to share a whole new world with you!  Or, at least, the cast of the upcoming live-action film Aladdin is ready!

On Wednesday, film star Mena Massoud shared a photo from set to his social media pages commemorating the film’s wrapped production.  On Instagram, Massoud’s caption says, “That’s a wrap on Aladdin! It’s been an incredible journey and I can’t wait for you all to see it next year. Thank you to the cast & crew for your endless hard work and your passion. #Aladdin #2019

Massoud will play the titular character alongside Will Smith who will play Genie, Naomi Scott who will play Jasmine, Marwan Kenzari who will play Jafar and Navid Negahban who will play Sultan.  The film, directed by Guy Ritchie, will head to post-production and is slated to hit theaters on May 24, 2019.
