‘Stranger Things’ Star David Harbour Promises to Officiate a Fan’s Wedding for 125,000 Retweets
Stranger Things star David Harbour has a very special relationship with his fans on social media and when he makes a promise, you can bet that he’s going to keep it!
Case and point, just last week, Harbour posted some photos he took with a young fan, however, these weren’t just any ordinary photos. Harbour had promised the high school senior that if she was able to get 25k retweets on her tweet asking him to take her senior photos with her, then he would do it. She got the retweets and, as promised, he took the photos:
Just yesterday via Twitter, Harbour made another promise to a fan and, this time, he’s upping the ante. When A fan tweeted asking Harbour to officiate her wedding which is coming up this September, Harbour jumped right in with a challenge and another promise. This time, if the fan is able to get 125k retweets, Habour promises to get ordained and officiate her wedding, assuming he’s given the first piece of cake at the reception to follow. Check out the tweet challenge below:
What would it take to get @DavidKHarbour to be the Officiant at my wedding in September?!

125k retweets. Provided date works with s3 shooting schedule, I will get ordained and perform ceremony. I get to read an esteemed love letter of my choosing, and after the cake is officially cut, I get the very first piece. #allthecakes https://t.co/rSku8qD7uT

The fan, named Ericka, has already gained a ton of support! At the time of writing this article, her original tweet had over 44k retweets while Harbour’s challenge tweet had over 66k retweets.
If you’re on twitter, why not hop on, give Ericka a retweet and help her have a fantasy, truly one-of-a-kind wedding ceremony!
