‘Game of Thrones’ Postage Stamps are Coming!
Later on this month, you won’t need to send a raven in order to have your messages delivered. Royal Mail announced on Wednesday that it will be releasing Game of Thrones-themed postage stamps and they are absolutely stunning!
Royal Mail (aka. The UK Postal Service) is releasing the series of stamps in order to honor the “very significant British contributions” which the show has made. The stamps will also honor the series’ cast which primarily consists of British and Irish actors.
Ten characters in total will be featured on the stamps including Daenerys Targaryen (played by Emilia Clarke), Jon Snow (played by Kit Harington), Arya Stark (played by Maisie Williams), Cersei Lannister (played by Lena Headey), Sansa Stark (played by Sophie Turner), Tywin Lannister (played by Charles Dance), Eddard Stark (played by Sean Bean), Olenna Tyrell (played by Dame Diana Rigg), Tyrion Lannister (played by Peter Dinklage) and, last but not least, Jaime Lannister (played by Nikolaj Coster-Waldau).
In addition to the character stamp set, a five-stamp sheet featuring the Night King accompanied by the White Walkers and giants, direwolves, dragons and the coveted Irone Throne will be available as well.
The stamp set is limited so make sure to pre-order yours before January 23rd from the Royal Mail website!
