It was just a few short weeks ago that Justice League star Jason Momoa was asked about his involvement in the upcoming film The Crow: Reborn at a Comic Convention in New York. Momoa was asked if he had started filming for the new movie yet. He responded by saying he had yet to even sign on the dotted line for the film, indicating that his participation was still not definite.
Over the holiday weekend, however, Momoa was given a Christmas gift which is getting fans excited once again about the film in question.
Momoa shared a video on his Instagram account on Monday showing that he officially has his hands on the film’s script! In the video, he shows a hand-painted bottle of wine before revealing a bound-copy of the script for The Crow. While this could be a copy of the original film’s script, as Momoa flips through the pages on camera, you can clearly see his name printed, front and center, across the words. The caption to the video says the following:
“Mele Kalikimaka Cheeeeeeehoooooooo hand painted bottle of vino and my favorite script from my director @corinhardy 2018 is going to be the best have a beautiful holidays everyone Aloha E”

The Crow: Reborn is a reboot from director Corin Hardy which has been the topic of speculation for quite some time. Momoa is believed to be playing the lead role of Eric Draven which was previously iconically portrayed by Brandon Lee. Just last month, Momoa caused quite a stir when he shared an artist rendering of what appeared to be the iconic face paint of The Crow on his Instagram page. The caption to the photo addressed Hardy saying, “I’ve been waiting sooooo long. @corinhardy let’s do this brother.”
Thanks to this most recent share from Momoa, it appears that production has taken one step closer to actually happening. What do you think about The Crow: Reborn?
