Marvel’s ‘Jessica Jones’ just Released the Teaser for Season 2
Marvel’s smart-mouthed private eye Jessica Jones is finally back for a second season!
Krysten Ritter is back as Jessica and is working on a new case. She doesn’t have Kilgrave to worry about, but things are still troubling her. She’s getting back to “unfinished business” while trying to put her life back together.
“I think one of the things I would be able to do now, that’s harder to do in the first season, is to really expand on the ensemble…I would hope to further expand on the ensemble, and on Jessica’s world. She ends in a very different place than she started off. She’s still going to be Jessica Jones — that is not going to change. She will continue to drink and make mistakes, and accidentally drop people onto train tracks, but something has changed for her by the end of this season, and I’d just love to explore that in the second season,” said series creator and Executive Producer, Melissa Rosenberg.
Returning characters include Trish Walker played by Rachel Taylor, Jeri Hogarth played by Carrie-Anne Moss, and Eka Darville’s Malcolm Ducasse. This season will introduce J.R. Ramirez as Oscar and Leah Gibson as Ingrid. Janet McTeer is also joining the show for a “undisclosed” role. David Tennant is also rumored to make an appearance.
We still don’t know who the villain is or what the story will involve, but we do get this awesome teaser backed by Heart’s “Barracuda” to remind us of just how badass Jessica Jones is. Take a look.
