First Look at Brenton Thwaites as Robin from DC’s ‘Titans’ Series
On Friday, we got our very first look at the new and upcoming DC television series Titans. Warner Bros. released the first image of Brenton Thwaites (Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales) in full costume as Robin (aka. Dick Grayson).
The image depicts a darker side to the Titans story showing Thwaites partially shrouded in darkness and shadow with a stormy and menacing looking backdrop. Thwaites is fully suited up, staff in hand, with that signature “R” symbol emblazed upon his chest.
Check it out below:
Titans will follow Thwaites character Robin as he leads a group of young DC superheroes including Starfire (Anna Diop), Raven (Teagan Croft), and Beast Boy (Ryan Potter).
The new series is executive produced by Akiva Goldsman, Geoff Johns, Greg Berlanti and Sarah Schechter. Titans will debut at some point in 2018 on the WB and also on DC Entertainment’s digital streaming service.
