Joe Manganiello Shares His Official ‘Deathstroke’ Photo

We’ve been hearing the rumors for month and now we can official say, Deathstroke has finally made his appearance in the DC Universe on the big screens. -Spoiler Warning for Justice League

True Blood‘s Joe Manganiello recently tweeted a new image of himself as Slade Wilson aka Deathstroke the Terminator, the DC Comics assassin who  made a surprise appearance in the Justice League post-credits scene. No words were posted in addition to this photo, but none were needed. The image itself is empowering enough.

After Batman (Ben Affleck), Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot), The Flash (Ezra Miller), Aquaman (Jason Momoa), Cyborg (Ray Fisher), and the newly resurrected Superman (Henry Cavill) grappled with Steppenwolf (Ciaran Hinds) and his Apokolip-tic forces in Justice League, the finale tag saw Lex Luthor (Jesse Eisenberg) escaping from prison to rendezvous with Deathstroke. Their conversation hinted at the formation of either the Injustice League or some sort of Legion of Doom.

While there has been no final confirmation in regards to whether or not Deathstroke will appear in the next solo Batman film, the news broke in October that DC and Warner Bros were in the early stages of development in producing a solo Deathstroke film, with Manganiello as the masked mercenary with The Raid director Gareth Evans at the helm.
