Nielsen Social Ratings: November 8, 2017

So Tuesday’s Nielsen Social Ratings weren’t released, we now have Wednesdays out!

Riverdale was dethroned this week as the 51st Annual Country Music Academy Awards took the number one spot. The award show took in 5.2 million interactions beating out Riverdale‘s 157,000 interactions last weekEmpire took the number two spot this week with 315,000 interactions.

Riverdale landed the number three spot, with 233,000 interactions, up from their number of interactions last week but also among tougher competition night with original running program as well as the big ABC award show.

Telemundo’s Sin Senos Si Hay Paraiso landed in the number four spot, with 107,000 for the Spanish telenovela.

Shows that didn’t make the top five this week: Dynasty, Criminal Minds.

As a Refresher: The Content Ratings use the total number of social interactions across Facebook and Twitter to rank the top 5 series/specials and sporting events, separately. The chart includes uniques, which are “unique social media accounts that have authored original content related to a linear TV episode or engaged with that content,” and interactions, which are “original social media posts related to a linear TV episode and the engagement with that content.”
