Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas are Engaged

Looks like there will be another Game of Thrones wedding on the horizon! Just a couple of weeks after Kit Harrington and Rose Leslie announced their engagement, Sophie Turner, who plays Sansa Stark on the hit show, announced that she and boyfriend, DNCE frontman, Joe Jonas were engaged as well.

The pair shared the news on their individual Instagram pages with a stunning photo of the ring and the captions, “I said yes.” and “She said yes.”

I said yes.

The pair has been dating for about a year now and even adopted a puppy together back in early September.

While the two have managed to keep their relationship extremely private, Turner did open up to InStyle magazine back in May saying, “I found it easier to date someone who understands the industry or is in that world. You realize that you’re not going to see each other all the time. And you don’t feel like a jerk when you’re like, ‘My publicist says I can’t do this …'”

It’s safe to say that Jonas definitely knows a thing or two about being in the spotlight as he too was thrust into superstardom early on with the major success of his family band, The Jonas Brothers.

His brother Nick Jonas also chimed in to offer his congrats to the pair saying, “Ahh! Congratulations to my brother…and sister in law to be on your engagement. I love you both so much.”

Of course, the people of Twitter had a few things to say about the engagement too!

Congrats to the happy pair!
