Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Hilarie Burton will Get Spooky in Fundraiser for Astor Services

One of our favorite things about the celebrities we like so much is that they all find ways to give back. In realizing that they’ve got incredible platforms, they frequently do what they can, and then some, to help those who need it.

One of those celebrities is Jeffrey Dean Morgan, who told us once that one of the things he loves most about what he does is that it allows him to help people.

It comes as no surprise that Hilarie Burton feels as passionate about giving back as her partner does, and when they get charitable, they do it in style.

For the second year, Hilarie and Jeffrey are teaming up to read scary stories for a good cause in New York on November 4th.

The special event is set to take place at 6 pm. For the evening, the Richard B. Fisher Center for the Performing Arts will turn into the perfect place to hear a good ghost story as well as take part in a silent auction.

One of the items guests can bid on is the chance to tell a scary story on stage with Hilarie and Jeffrey, and honestly, how cool is that?

Proceeds from the silent auction will go assist Astor Services for Children and Families. The initiative assists families by providing child welfare services, children’s mental health services, and early childhood development programs.

Both Hilarie and Jeffrey are passionate about giving a hand to Astor Services and have done so in big ways.

Tickets for the event are available now and they’re priced as follows.

$35, $50, $75 and $250. Guests who purchase the $250 ticket will be invited to a reception after the event and have the opportunity to take a selfie with the celebrities.

On social media, Jeffrey showed an item up for auction that will excite fans of The Walking Dead.

He also said he’s been saving some really cool stuff for the silent auction.

Hilarie posted a tweet about the work her and Jeffrey have been doing to get ready for the event and to help the organization in the mean time.

If you’re lucky enough to attend the event, have some fun on our behalf.
