Quick recap of last week’s episode: Amy said yes and Bernadette is pregnant again and she’s about 3 months along!
Leonard has a wonderful opportunity to go on the radio and try to get funding for the university. He is supposed to talk up the department and he, well doesn’t. His interview goes south as he basically says that his department is not making any important findings.
Plot twist! Sheldon actually thinks that what Leonard said was true. I didn’t see that coming.
The Dean tells Leonard to write a statement retracting his interview or he’s fired. Sheldon and Leonard are having a hard time writing the statement, so Howard and Raj intervene. It ends with everyone drunk and Howard freaking out over having two babies and Raj crying over being forever alone.
To cheer themselves up, the boys and Penny go visit Richard Feynman’s grave. Their drunken adventure makes them feel better but that feeling subsides when Leonard sends a drunk email to the Dean.
On a lighter note, Amy’s department is getting more funding due to the physics department not being very successful. Unfortunately she can’t flaunt that because Sheldon would get jealous. Bernadette admits that she hides her success from Howard, which makes Amy feel a little better. They decide to brag to each other… that doesn’t last long.
Next week, we get a look at wedding planning: Sheldon and Amy style. That’ll be good.
